Day 2 of mega-hiatus:
Fan-base sanity is rapidly dropping to the levels seen at the depths of the previous hiatus, and shows no signs of slowing down.
This dose not bode well.

Still think it's in the "trying too hard" stage. If it hasn't scattered by then, let's see the fandom in a month or two.
