This ship seems like the more cerebral, but less mind-gamey and manipulative, counterpart to Pumpkin Patch. Rose would treat Jake better than Dirk did on principle, but she would probably find him insipid, and a lot of Rose's interests would probably completely fly over Jake's head.

Who know, maybe she'd find it endearing? And I'm still holding out hope for Jake to demonstrate he's not always an idiot.
