The Cotton Candy Creeps are a race of hard-to-control imps under the employ of a grand travelling circus that wanders the many worlds of the TickTockStuck universe. This nomadic carnival often makes stops around the borders of Tick-Tock Town to entertain its vast amount of citizens (and fill its pocket with their money). Of particular interest are any corpses or cadavers that might lie within the city. Taking these remains for themselves, they are taken deep within the circus to make some of its most important workers, the Cotton Candy Creeps.
The Creeps are woven together in large cotton candy machines, using a random assortment of body parts and candy to form a roughly human shape. Though they can be very hard to control, these imps are immensely useful to the circus’ operations. A large number are created for cheap labor, running various stands and carnival amusements whenever necessary and helping put up and take down the tents with the rest of the circus crew. Their numerous pranks and antics during working hours leave guests entertained in ways other members of the crew can’t, while at the same time robbing passers-by blind of their valuables. Being made of sticky candy, taking a little cash unnoticed is an easy task.
However, the Creeps do have their downsides as lower-level minions. They’re very easily distracted by their own hijinks, and can forget tasks assigned to them almost immediately. A more considerable problem is the camaraderie Creeps build amongst themselves, with whole groups often disobeying orders for the sake of fun, and mimicking pseudo-sexual acts to themselves. More disastrously, groups often turn to gleeful violence when they have sweet teeth, turning into cannibalistic brawls eating each other out for their sugary flesh and meaty interior. Not helping matters is the charmrom system of romance the Creeps have adopted from leprechaun guests to the circus, which makes them even harder to properly tame. The circus’ Ringmaster has to run a tight leash to keep in control, but the Creep’s skills as pickpockets and labor make them invaluable to the nomadic carnival.
