Okay guys, you need to help me out. I found this image on 4chan so the source wasn't given with the exception that it was saved on someone's tumblr. Google images being awful right now.

Also I'm not sure whether to tag the lot of these John&Dave hugging as bromance or shipping. The could be either or but one would most likely get overlooked because of a tag.

If it's either or I say tag it as both, that's what we tend to do. If people who blacklist hammertime miss it, shrugs that's the risk you run.

I would rather have one or the other since some folks would like see friendshippy/brotherly/sisterly images without any romantic implications.

I don't know man it seems that some of these images are ambiguous depending how you see a pair of characters relationship and the current situation they in. It's not as clear cut as an original scene were characters are on a date, cuddling, kissing, etc.

Guess it ultimately depends on the artist intent(but even then that's not 100% clear) Aw well...

This is not shipping. Even the author says so. This is just a dude bawing his eyes out when he sees his best friend again after three years.

Tags are pretty damn shippy, but if you want to see this as pure bromance then interpret it that way! If you want to see it as something more, interpret it that other way.
