The sentient races in Homestuck are humans, trolls, cherubs, carapacians, leprechauns, the consorts, the denizens, the horrorterrors, and... Well, Scratch isn't really anything, but he's alive. The squiddles may or may not actually be a race; Hussie keeps joking about them having created the troll universe, but he could be serious for all we know.
