what's with this artist's obsession with labelling their art with big numbers, though? (tumblr's blocked on this compy so sorry for the posibly obvious question)

Looking at "4" set, they're labeled in different corners. But positions don't equal out across the set.

The numbers apparently started a few days into October (2013, just in case) - perhaps it's keeping track of a 30 day challenge or something?
