I don't..quite understand what's going on here. Did Gamzee blindfold Equius and tell him they were going to go get a horse...and then..Tavros fell in their laps?

Well...it looks like Gamzee bound and blindfolded Equius and there's some sort of bondage thing going on. (the scratches and collar just put off that feeling, at least)
Tavros is definitely on Equius' lap, and Gamzee may be behind him. Either way, Equius appears to be imagining himself as a horse being "ridden" as it were.

Gamzee also seems to have forced a kiss on Tavros judging from the sopor and expression.

Just, well, an all around mess really.
Too many ideas at once!

Are you sure Equius isn't just fantasizing about a horse being there? Like he's gotten bored while Gamzee talks with Tavros so his mind just goes to horses.
