Different anon here. Consider this: The game was heading towards a dead end wherein no one ever did anything and Meenah wasn't helping with that at all. It was by Aranea's actions that force everyone else into action and ultimately caused John to beginning retconning things into a more favorable timeline. As such, it was by her motivation that everyone else has a chance at winning Sburb.

Also Meenah bullied Damara into a violent breakdown and suicide and has been implied to do potentially worse if it wasn't for Aranea. Did I mention the Beforans are screwed up?

iirc Damara snapped and attacked both Rufioh (as a scorned lover) and Meenah (retaliation for abuse), and after ascending to godtier Meenah revenge-killed Damara.

Damara was evasive when Meenah asked if she was a godtier, but there's no concrete statement that Damara actually died before Meenah blew everybody up in the Scratch.
