Yeah I think it should because picture implies Karkat is there and Nepeta is calling him. Also is tagged with "Katnep" in the original post.

She probably wouldn't, but as we all know, in comic trolls are just grey humans on the outside. Hussie might've BSed some reason for them to have naval indentations.

True. But if this artwork was attempting to depict a biologically "correct" troll (at least according to headcanons by the fandom), then Nepeta would at least have "gill slits" (probably saying that wrong) from when she was a grub.

Grub scars have always felt a little offputting to me- as well as being biologically incorrect.
Trolls pupate.
When something pupates, it gets melted down into a biological gel. They're reformed into their "current" form afterwards.
There wouldn't be any "scars" from their previous forms.
...That being said, they wouldn't have navels either, by that same logic.
