i'm not sure the non-canon-design thing should apply to "what if" scenarios like different outfits / types of corruption applying to characters they didn't appear in, in the comic

because if that were the case it'd be on like a good 30% of all the pictures on here

as i recall the tag was originally made for god tier designs made before the canon ones or "guesses" of the designs of characters before we'd seen them, like the beforans

I treat them like: 'If it doesn't happen in the comic, it's a non-canon-design', with exception if tiny changes are made, like adding a hat or something.
