Exactly. Jane trying to be sexy is doomed to comical failure. Jane being her plain dorky self is hyper-adorable. The rest of her family shares this to some degree.

This is a cool costume. This lady's hair looks almost perfectly Homestuckian.

I'm sure a seasoned baker like her has managed to figure out by now how to not get batter all over her face whenever her tongue gets stuck in a whisk, though.

Well obviously you need to put the whisk in your mouth length-wise to avoid getting tonguestuck.
