Rogue outfit looks too much like the Thief outfit. I mean most of it is pretty much exactly the same. I get Feastings was probably going for exactly that, but... Why?

I'm not really seeing how "exactly the same it is". What we can see of the hood makes it look flat, lacking the point the Thief outfit has; it has a mask, which is unique amongst all the outfits, plus the neato stitched-up scarf; the cape isn't twintailed like the Thief's, and looks to be pretty basic. Theives also don't have the armbands or the stitching on their sides, and the only really big similarity is the boots, which could be thematic similarities due to Rogues and Thieves being active/passive counterparts.

The tunic is also a lot shorter than a thiefs and differently shaped. The differences are subtle but they are there.

Here's what you do: take the Thief outfit, switch out the hood, and throw on accessories.
There, now it's a Rogue outfit. That's my issue.

And as to them being paired classes... where else do we see that level of similarity? Certainly not in our other known pair.
