But I don't really think either Karkat or Gamzee are good matches for him, and Sollux is with Aradia. And John is "not a homosexual" and Dave...he probably shouldn't go out with Dave. The only male characters that leaves who are still alive are the Mayor and Caliborn. I ship Dirk with Caliborn, but I have a feeling it isn't going to happen. And Dave already has called dibs on the Mayor.

I think I realized why we really didn't get much show of what the Alphas were doing. In the five months that they were going around the Incipisphere they were essentially doing nothing.

Sure there were adventures to be had, but they were effectively pointless diversions. There was no goal or objective going on. They did not have any meaningful progress. Hell, even their relationships were stagnant and showed no progress by the end of the five months. I mean, I've kind of lost interest with them a while ago, but I think if we were to bear witness to all of that very few people in the fandom would like them at all.

I think the whole trickster mode with Jane did more to advance the progress of their session in less than an hour than they did in the entire time these four were out of focus.

Though I am not condoning how Hussie used them as characters in storytelling.
