Hey Mistersolitare, how about you blacklist the artist or the tag instead of downvoting everything, you wouldn't have to see it, everyone's happy.

The problem is that we put creepy as hell art on the board in the first place. I'm a lot less inclined to show this board or pictures on it to others if I think there's going to be a public deluge of fanart that seems rapey as hell. In any case, if I don't like something I'm allowed to vote it down.

Also it would be cool if you (or whoever's doing it) didn't delete comments I and others have written against Fastpuck's art.

I didn't delete your comments, I was merely suggesting something that would make you feel better. People like this artist, this is a board for the people. That's how I feel about it. We have trigger tags for the people who get upset by it as a safeguard, it's the best compromise I can think of.

I guess you're welcome to take the low road, there isn't a whole lot I can do about it. Was merely a suggestion to ease your discomfort, but if you'd rather be angry instead of not, well I tried.

I would have thought that quietly downvoting the kind of art I didn't like, instead of making a bunch of angry posts and stirring up drama, would have been the preferred method of handeling this sort of thing. I already said why my I didn't think blacklisting the artist would have solved anything.

He does have nice art when it isn't creepy.

My main issue with downvoting is that a lot of people have a threshold that they haven't modified which is defaultly at 0, making downvoted images hidden completely to them, images they might like but don't get to see. Not many people know how to adjust that rating, and it does sadden me to see nice art with downvotes though I do understand these things can be upsetting. There's also nothing someone can do about art that isn't on the board that they'd like to see (short of uploading it themselves but a lot of people around here seem shy about that!), but there are things a person can do about art on the board they don't care for.

If it's the age discrepancy or incest or things of that nature that bother you those are blacklistable as well leaving the rest of fastpucks art for you to see. We made tags like that to keep from upsetting people, that's why I urge their use on the blacklist more than anything. No one's out to upset anyone.

If that's not a workable solution either, then I suppose we'll both just have to live with the situation at hand. I do appreciate you not starting a firestorm, that definitely would not have been preferable, but I guess it just saddens me not only to see nice art get downvoted, but also to see people upset at a usually preventable situation is all.

I'll do my best to get it buried under some more art dumps so it's out of sight and out of mind for ya.
