I love it, but it makes me wonder..was gamzees ancestor even alive when the sufferer was? We don't hear him mentioned until he kills dualscar, and that was like, a few hundred years later. For all we know he hadn't even landed on his meteor when signless was running around.

Well according to the link here, he "eventally died" after he killed Dualscar. Although, the lifespan of Alternian trolls does seem to increase exponentially as you move up the hemospectrum. Maybe he was even poisoned by lowbloods or something? Idk. :?

Currently the Condesce is the sole Alternian ancestral troll to remain alive in the post-Scratch session, due to her longevity correlating to her blood as well as psychic powers. Needless to say, she's pretty damn powerful!

What confuses me is that during Doc Scratch's intermission, Doc Scratch was holding a baby (grub) version of the Handmaid, Aradia and Damara's ancestor. And we eventually saw she and the Condesce duke it out in a strife, but the end result wasn't seen. So the question remains: How did the conflict end????? Did Condesce kill Handmaid? Or did she just shoosh pap her into submission?

I get that she's the only one left(she'd have to be after the glub), I was just wondering if the GHBs life overlapped with the signlesses. For all we know he arrived on a meteor the day after the dude got arrowed.

^^The end result wasn't seen, but it was explicitly stated by the "good" Doctor. The Handmaid's death at the Condesce's hand was both her punishment for her crimes against her race and her reward for her service to Lord English.

Re GHB: All the possibilities are for the most part equally credible. Given his blood level, it's entirely possible that he lived to experience the movements of both the Sufferer and the Summoner. Because of the dramatic fun involved in that, I like to think that's the most likely case, but there's nothing in-universe to say that he didn't arrive after the Sufferer or die before the Summoner. All we know for sure is that he was around to kill Dualscar sometime between the two.
