I think what Clover flipped the 4/14 coin and it landed on Quarters's side, so they switched places.

What Clover has is his and Quarter's coin; what happened was they switched places.
It's DANGEROUS because he could kill himself if it lands on his side. (but he's so lucky it would never happen and he treats it as a toy)
