I love this calendar and I love this picture. But what's up with Dirk? He looks albino compared to everyone else.

Roxy's a bit pinker than Dirk, and she has more yellow in her hair as well. Which is pretty much what makes the visual difference between albino and merely really fair-complexioned.

My headcanon has always been that the Striders are albino anyway. It also fit for Dave's red eye color.

To be fair, aswell, the Lalondes might have minor cases f albinism aswell. since purple eyes are most common to find in a mutated variation of albinism, usually one that results in a not-as-severe pigment loss. basically a presence fo the gene but not highly active.

And it's actually possible for a person to have albinism that only affects the eyes, but not the skin or hair! Though usually occular albinism takes the form of INSANELY BRIGHT blue eyes (ex: http://pandawhale.com/post/8012/the-boy-with-the-sapphire-eyes ), not violet or pink/red.

You know how sometimes anime characters have all sorts of weird hair/eye colors despite being completely normal human beings? I figure it's like that, but with just the eye colors. Unless maybe you want to go with the white hair headcanon as well?
...Good lord, the anime was here all along.
