Oh I love Xamag dearly, but still Hussie was the one to originally design the Beforans' looks, and Latula's design is one of my least favorite among the trolls. (It's okay to rag on Hussie, right????) This is a much more interesting design. Awaiting downvotes.

I'm not personally a fan of this design, but I'm not even sure what it is about it that bugs me so that's just me being...something.

I seem to recall reading that Hussie actually did leave the specifics of (some of) the Beforans' designs to the art team…

I think he gave them those overhead sprite sheets that leaked and then let them do the rest.
