I want to say it might retain Normal typing but I really have no idea.

It'd be a great Light type but I've kind of given up hope Gamefreak will introduce a Light type no matter how much sense it makes.

Well, it sure as hell ain't Flying, Dragon, Fighting, Rock, Ground, Bug, Poison, Ghost, or Steel. So it's either a Normal type (which would probably mean it's the only Eeveelution in the set, and maybe the last ever; boooooooo) or a new type. Frankly it's not doing it for me as a representative of a potential new Light type, considering how Normal-looking its design is. But there might be an entirely different surprise in store for us...

I think it's cute. Then again I don't ever really take part in the generational hating on the Pokemon designs followed by the eventual acceptance, followed further by the "Fuck Yeah Pokemon" feels.

Gen 5 has some way more questionable designs then this thing anyways.

Also we're not lacking in bug types...

unless you meant a Bug Eeveelution.

(Gimme my Ghost Eeveelution please)

It's not a "generational hating" thing at all oh no
I like most of the Pokemon that have been revealed for this generation so far (although I don't particularly like Fennekin either I would have liked to have a non-mammalian Fire-Type for once in four generations now, and it being canine just made it more unappealing to me)
It's just that this thing is pretty much everything I could ever hate in a monster design ever?
There's always one or two in every generation that I don't particularly like, and they're not usually the ones everyone else hates...
And it's not that there's a lack of Bug-Types but there's always Bug-Types and I'd rather see them than this frilly pink abomination
