It might be interesting to have one of the Beforans suddenly turn out to be competent (in addition to Meenah, I guess, though it's debatable just how competent she is), but for the most part I'm ok with them being a collective joke.

^ I'm pretty sure he was still pacifist as the Sufferer. The main difference was that his painful ramblings became rousing sermons.

being peaceful in defiance of of a overly senselessly violent culture is pretty awesome though.


Also his last moments did show he probably did have it in him to go nuts
